The Foundation for the Arts in Vale is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to enhancing the community’s quality of life by creating more opportunities in the arts. We support programs involving dance, music, theatre, visual arts and language. Our vision is to see everyone have a positive experience in the arts. We want to see our children filled with passion about something other than tv. We want to be able to ask “What’s your favorite thing to do?” and see their
eyes light up with a myriad of choices to answer. We want the people of Vale to discover talents and
abilities that will bring them joy for the rest of their lives.

2008 Fall Scholarships will be available
We have secured funding for private arts lessons in music, dance, theater, and visual arts. Please download an application or stop by and pick one up!
Five Students receive awards for outstanding participation in the arts.
FAVE looked at all the scholarship evaluations and wanted to say “well done” to all the students. It was a great spring semester and we can tell by your teacher’s comments that progress in the arts was made. We chose one student from each of the disciplines that seemed to stand out, either in attitude, talent, commitment, or overall enthusiasm. Paul Spivey (Guitar), Delilah Barnes (Painting), Brandy Villegas (Choir), Desteny Garcia (Dance), and Kayla Flint (Piano) were all given certificates of achievement and swim passes to the Vale pool for their efforts. Keep up the good work and have a fun summer!
